[Apr. 26th, 2012|02:35 am]

  • I couldn't think of anything to talk to my barber about and now I'm afraid he was offended.
  • I stayed with some friends in America. They made me a cup of tea by putting a teabag in a cup of water and microwaving it.
  • I have to go to the third page of symbols to get a £ on my smartphone.
  • It took me 30 seconds to walk through a door because I said "after you" 4 times.
  • Summer in Еngland, my favourite day of the year.
  • My £300 smartphone "auto-corrects" colour to color and I can't fix it.
  • I got on the left side of the escalator by accident and had to walk all the way up.
  • UNEXPECTED ITEM IN BAGGING AREA.

every single house in the uk has a kettle for tea. i remember an american person here saying that buying a kettle was good for pasta and stuff, but i was shocked that they had to point out they had a kettle.

in the uk, kettles seem to come with the house

Like every British tank since the Centurion, and most other British AFVs, Challenger 2 contains a boiling vessel (BV) also known as a kettle or bivvie for water which can be used to brew tea, produce other hot beverages and heat boil-in-the-bag meals contained in ration packs. This BV requirement is general for armoured vehicles of the British Armed Forces, and is unique to the armed forces of the UK.

Кстати, про Math я не понял, так как с местной системой образования знаком исключительно в объеме, предусмотренном книжицей Life in the UK.
